Ancient fans in
mother-of-pearl in show to Ancona
The great show of ancient fans in mother-of-pearl of the collection
"Sergio Cannara" started to "Spazio-Tempo", Valle Miano street, Ancona.
30 masterpieces, primarily of the French art of half '800, are exposed
in the structure wanted in Ancona from Tiziano Cossignani, director of
the Museum of Malacology of Cupra Marittima, that exposes, in permanence,
one unbelievable show of fans.
Really wonderful a 1860 Italian fan whose page represents a painted
mythological scene on "vellum" and whose fitting is in pierced white
Of particular effect are the fans realized in France in 1850, in
the Parisian area, for the Spanish market, with important fittings in
mother-of-pearl "ageminata", with a technique detail used to decorate
the inlays with gold and silver.
Interesting a 1860 Jenny Lind fan, great stylist of the epoch,
that is characterized by the presence of leaves in silk.
The show, visible up to November 9, develops among Scholar's stones,
bronzes of Benin and a thousand of African masks, in permanence,
present in the Spazio-Tempo in Ancona.
The structure is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30
a.m. and from 03.00 p.m. to 07.00 p.m.
